Atari Jaguar NTSC Optimal OSSC Timing: -------------------- Input Cable: RGB sync-on-luma SCART Cable OSSC Firmware = 0.81a (use 0.81 if you don't have audio version of OSSC) -------------------- Note: Although these settings are based on the the specific Jaguar setup that I used, the only values that may or may not differ from other Jaguar setups are the following: 1. Sampling phase (this always will be restricted to a case-by-case basis). 2. Advanced timing for 320x240's H. backporch. 3. Advanced timing for 320x240's V. backporch. Everything else should be universal. -------------------- Video in proc > Video LPF = 35MHz -------------------- Sync opt. > Analog sync LPF = 10MHz (med) -------------------- Output opt. > 240p/288p proc = Whatever linex mode you prefer. LineXx mode = 320x240 optim. -------------------- Sampling opt. > 320x240: H. samplerate = 422 H. synclen = 31 H. backporch = 23 H. active = 360 V. synclen = 3 V. backporch = 11 V. active = 240 Back out to "Sampling phase" and adjust until all pixels are sharp with the least amount of color bleed. Mine looks best at 292 degrees for most games. -------------------- Max Horizontal resolution, gameplay sampling phase: NOTE: Sampling phase values listed below are not intended to be suggested settings, but rather to give an idea where variations in phase position occur. Alien vs Predator: 320 Sampling Phase = 303 degrees Battle Sphere Gold: 320 Sampling Phase = 303 degrees Cybermorph: 320 Sampling Phase = 303 degrees Defender 2000: 351 Sampling Phase = 303 degrees Hover Strike: 335 Sampling Phase = 303 degrees Iron Soldier: 320 Sampling Phase = 303 degrees * Iron Soldier 2: 320 Sampling Phase = 303 degrees * Missile Command 3D: 351 Sampling Phase = 303 degrees Rayman: 320 Sampling Phase = 348 degrees Skyhammer: 320 Sampling Phase = 112 degrees Super Burnout: 351 Sampling Phase = 303 degrees Tempest 2000: 351 Sampling Phase = 292 degrees * Contains title, plot, or menu screens that differ from main gameplay on sampling phase positiom. --------------------
